John Lavo
John Lavo started his Insurance and Financial Service career with John Hancock in 1983. After a successful ten years with John Hancock both as agent and manager, John started PRL Associates with partner Dennis Belardinelli in 1993. John’s professional services to his clients include financial analysis and insurance needs analysis.
John and his wife Robin reside in Endicott where they raised their four children Joseph, Cassandra, Marcus, and John. John enjoys spending much of his free time coaching various sports at the junior high and high school level. John is a proud community supporter through various clubs and school programs and activities.

Steve Carr
Steve is one of the partners at PRL and has been in the insurance and financial services business since 1987. He graduated from S.U.N.Y Oswego with a degree in Business Administration and achieved his Chartered Life Underwriters designation in 1993. Steve is licensed in P&C, Life, and Health as well as series 6 and 63. Steve joined PRL Associates in 1995.
Steve lives in Chenango Bridge with his wife Pam, they have four grown children. Through the years Steve has been active in the community. He has coached youth sports, been involved in the community association, and served on the Chenango Valley School Board.

Dennis Belardinelli
Dennis is a graduate of Iowa State U. and SUNY Cortland’s Health Care Planning/Administration programs with a minor in education. He specializes as an Independent agent representing IBN Financial Services. His expertise as a financial advisor for 29 years has earned him the respect of CPAs, attorneys, and business owner’s with their most valued commodity… their clients. A variety of innovative companies are available such as U.S. Energy Development and Lightstone Real Estate Trusts. Dennis and his partners, John Lavo and Steve Carr, uniquely blend their financial planning talents as PRL Associates.
Dennis resides in Endicott, NY with his wife Pam and has four grown daughters, Jennifer, Laura, Brenna, and Alexis. He has made a commitment to the community from volunteering to coaching girls ages 12-16 in Junior Olympic softball.

Jim Moore
Jim has been in the insurance business for more than 40 years. Throughout that time he has enjoyed serving the community of the Southern Tier. He is a graduate of S.U.N.Y Cortland and has a degree in Political Science. Jim joined the firm in 1997. He and his wife Carol live in Vestal and enjoy spending time with their six children and 4 grandchildren. Jim also enjoys playing golf and is an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan

Cormac Hogan
Cormac has been in the insurance field since 2005 and joined PRL Associates in 2007. In 2009, PRL Associates and Visions FCU joined in an alliance for member services with a focus on insurance products. Cormac’s office is currently inside of the Visions FCU branch on McKinley Avenue in Endicott, NY.
Cormac specializes in personal lines Property & Casualty, Life Insurance, and Medicare. He is also a certified Defensive Driving Instructor.
A native of Broome County, Cormac and his wife Kate are the proud parents of two and currently live in Binghamton. Cormac is very active in the community and is a Past President of the Broome County Kiwanis.

Courtney Harris
Courtney has been in the insurance industry for two years, she specializes in both Personal and Commercial lines, Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health insurance.
She was born and raised in the Broome County Area and continued to stay local and graduate from Binghamton University’s School of Management and joined our team in 2016. She married her high-school sweetheart and has four children.
